Hitting shelves tomorrow, October 20th, it’s Peanuts 1970′s Collection vol. 1. The 2-disc set features some classic episodes, two that have never been on DVD before, and a couple of great bonuses.
As was the case with the release of the 1960′s Collection, this is a great chance to own the show’s that have become holiday essentials, while at the same time getting some of the lesser-known installments which don’t make it to television broadcast very often… if ever. The collection has six remastered TV specials, and you don’t want to miss out.
Play It Again, Charlie Brown – First time on DVD – Mainly focusing on Lucy’s attempts at getting closer to Schroeder, this one features a lot of piano, and very nearly Schroeder’s first rock performance. The gang puts a band together, but at the last second Schroeder refuses to “sell out,” and won’t perform.
