Sims 3 World Adventures Hits App Store

ts3wa_iphone1

I hate to sound overly enthusiastic about a company, but EA has been blowing me away with their iPhone App games for quite a while, and now The Sims 3: World Adventures has hit as an App Game. The Sims 3, though limited and largely unable to pull me away from the PC version, is an incredible offering in the world of App Games, and we're taking things up a few notches. Just released, I haven't … [Read more...]

Mystery Mania – iPhone App Review

mm3sm

Leave it to EA to pull out all the stop on what is essentially just a time waster App. Having recently come out with several big name titles (Madden 10, Tiger Woods) as mobile versions, and with more on the way (NBA Live, Need for Speed Shift), EA Mobile doesn't let things rest there. They also have titles along the lines of Trivial Pursuit and such, and now they have a new entry into the category … [Read more...]

Continuing on with their major push toward the iPhone, EA is bringing Command & Conquer Red Alert to the iPhone and iPod Touch at the end of October. Having already put together some incredible iPhone games in the sports realm recently (Tiger Woods, Madden 10, FIFA 10), and with a strong list of other impressive entries (notably The Sims 3), EA isn't letting up on the iPhone any time … [Read more...]

Clue – iPhone App Review

photo-1

EA has a new App game version of Clue out for the iPhone and iPod Touch, and even if it doesn't quite relate directly to the board game, it's a pretty fun time.  It's more of a puzzle game than anything else, and it's well-suited to the play value of iPhone games.  It's complicated, and involves more thought than you'd expect, but it's also easy to digest in short bits while you're on … [Read more...]

Tiger Woods PGA Tour – iPhone App

img_0007

As I mentioned in the preview review, back at the EA Season Opener, one of the coolest things I got to see was an early version of Tiger Woods PGA Tour for the iPhone.  Now that it's out, it's even better than I thought it would be.  For an App, it amazingly captures the game features you expect from the EA franchise.  The graphics are great, and apart from a couple of small hiccups the … [Read more...]

Tiger Woods – iPhone App Version Played Preview

2

For me, the EASports Season Opener was dominated by Tiger Woods.  I got a special preview of the Wii version of Tiger Woods PGATour 10 which hits stores on June 16th.  I'll have a detailed article on that version when we get past the embargo date for features I most want to talk about.  For now, I can tell you that it is very cool, and has a lot of new features that really put this release in a … [Read more...]
