A drama that comes close to perfect, with great acting that pulls you in, Dallas Buyers Club easily one of the better films of the year, but I don't know if it's one of the best.
The new Thor effort gets lost for much of the runtime, and for all that it does some things pretty well (and is fun at points), it doesn't bring things together, and gets bogged down much of the time.
It's fun, and stands out as a solid, entertaining film, but it has some disappointments to it, and fans of the book may take them pretty seriously.
Bad Grandpa didn't work out for us, even to a rather surprising degree, but you didn't need us to tell you anything to know where you stand with this one.
We almost couldn't like this less, and the save for Carrie turns out to be its least important characters. Huzzah.
Critics and audiences agree, but we don't. The jazzy, space, survival film didn't quite work for us, but we still recommend seeing it.
