I remember seeing Kick-Ass at the SXSW premiere, and it was the talk of the festival. It blew everyone away. The trailer for Kick-Ass 2, with the exceptionally cool inclusion of Jim Carrey, is taking all the notes people gave to the first movie, and going the other direction. If you saw Kick-Ass and said, “Yes, but it’s too…,” well, it’s even more now.
On the other hand, Christopher Mintz-Plasse‘s character now seems a little goofy, but you can’t have everything.
