The Voice Season 4 Preview

The Voice is returning on March 25th, and this one is going to be an interesting test of the market. American Idol isn’t faring as well as the money people would hope, and is in fact getting to a very strange place when it comes to the general, online reaction. We’re still in limbo with X Factor, because we don’t know who the judges will be, except that Simon (apparently) is curiously supporting Demi Lovato’s return.

The response to the premiere of the new season of The Voice may just play a critical role in the future of all singing competition shows. It seems, if we’re going to just put it out there, that people are getting a little bored with at least some of them.

Of course, The Voice has its unique spin on things, and that has served it well so far. The question is, will the new judges help things along? Will viewers tune out at the loss of Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green, or are Shakira and Usher enough to keep them around? It’s a tough one, because being famous doesn’t necessarily translate into being watchable as a judge, and we have a lot of Idol and X Factor examples to draw from by now.

Will you be tuning in? Are you happy about the loss/gain of judges?
