Doctor Zhivago Hits On Blu-Ray, On Demand, And Digital Download

Ready to watch Doctor Zhivago again? The classic film can be a tough sell in the revisit department, but it's well worth it. It's hitting stores today in a 45-year Anniversary edition Blu-Ray and DVD, which are loaded with special features, but what I want to draw your attention to at the moment are the On Demand and Download possibilities.

The alternative viewing market is skyrocketing, and there may be something to be said for the ability to digest this massive epic on the go. Sure, a Blu-Ray with hours of bonuses is a pretty easy sell to the right people, but I can see a lot of you out there who aren't necessarily in the mood for that much Doctor Z at one time.

I like the possibilities you get with these options, and even an iPhone has a pretty small screen (well, there's always iPad), I might prefer this one to the in-flight options.

Check out the Doctor Zhivago official site here for more info on the Blu-Ray features, and more on the film itself.

Check the below links for the possibilities available via Amazon or iTunes.

One of those classics I need to see. Blu-ray might be the perfect medium.
