It's been a wild week, and one with some cool stuff to share.
As a side note, I just want to put out there that I'm playing around with new video/trailer options as you can see with the widget at right. The Videos page is also different now, with a new player. I want to point that out, because there will be a lot more videos than there will be posts about videos. There are also potentially more items through the dedicated page than in the widget.
Ok, on to more interesting things.
First, just to ramble... is anyone else confused by the combination of Heidi Montag and Kate Gosselin press? Heidi is surfacing every other day, and has become the new poster girl for overdoing plastic surgery, and Kate is getting bashed every which way for her inability to dance (or even act semi-conscious) on Dancing with the Stars. Something has gone wrong here. Heidi may have gotten a big number attached to her plastic surgery, and she make look a little goofy in some respects, but I can still pick her out of a lineup for crying out loud. Why is this just me? I watched Kate on TV for years, and I'm still just taking their word for the fact that it's her on DWTS.
Anyway.
In recent news of giant awesomeness comes this interactive trailer for Iron Man 2. Sure, it is very cool, and I like to see the effort toward new things, but does Iron Man 2 really need to pull out every facet of advertising? Was someone undecided, but now they'll go see it? Then again, I don't really get why Coke advertises at all, but I realize I'm missing something.
PredictoTV caught up with Tina Fey and Steve Carell at the premiere of Date Night, and got a chance to ask them a couple of questions that are a little out of the ordinary. Out of the ordinary is fun for me.
Get Flash to see this player.
In case you missed Jimmy Fallon's GLEE skit, it's worth watching.
You probably know that I'm generally not real interested in the always growing list of lists that haunt internet sites. The best this, the coolest movies with that. Like idiotic statistics that now get thrown at you during every baseball game, the bizarre and obscure lists that serve no purpose (except that they apparently get you Dugg) are legion... and annoying.
Sometimes, however, such lists are compilations of cool efforts, and I've got one that is really worth the time.
The 15 Greatest Movie Trailer Re-Cuts Of All Time
http://www.ranker.com/list/the-15-greatest-movie-trailer-re-cuts-of-all-time/ihateeverything
You've probably seen some of these before, but having them all in one place adds some real value to list-building. Scenes from films are put together with new music, and delivered with a new overall tone to create a "new" film.

Exceedingly rare are the times that you'll see me promoting Good Morning America, but the following clip is really pretty cool. Spoiled children a curious documentary of same.
Are you missing USA's White Collar? The Hollywood Reporter has a great story about the show gearing up for season two here.

TV.com takes a very interesting look back at News Radio that includes clips. If you're feeling nostalgic, this is a great article.
That should keep you busy.
