Jessica Simpson’s The Price Of Beauty Raises Awareness For Operation Smile

Jessica Simpson's new foray into semi-reality television, The Price of Beauty, is shedding some light on Operation Smile tonight. Check out the show tonight at 10pm on VH1 for a surprisingly interesting look at the charity's work.

Jessica Simpson’s third episode of “The Price of Beauty,” airing Monday, March 29^th on VH1.  During her journey to India, Jessica volunteers with Operation Smile, a worldwide charity that provides safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and cleft palate.  On the mission, she meets Meena, a 13 year old girl who suffers from a cleft lip and cleft palate, and documents Meena’s journey as she undergoes corrective surgery, performed by Operation Smile medical volunteers.

Operation Smile and VH1 are encouraging viewers to share their smiles during this season of “The Price of Beauty.”  As part of the Smiles for Smiles campaign, people are invited to upload photos of their own smiles, which will become part of a mosaic composite featuring photos from the show.  For every photo uploaded VH1 will donate $1 to Operation Smile.  Visit www.vh1smile.com to upload photos, check out other smile mosaics and donate to Operation Smile.
