LOL. Poorly-written?

I like that you put a .edu email address, that's cute. I suspect the poorly-written (sorry, I find that amusing) article went somewhat over your head. "Our claim," is cute as well, but I'll go top trumps IQs with you if you're interested.

This poorly-written article is outstanding--albeit anecdotal--evidence that reality TV viewers are in fact less intelligent than the general population.

Viewers of scripted and news television have no reason to believe that they possess an IQ above 100 simply by virtue of what they watch, but those who watch Jersey Shore are, as a group, certainly well below that level.

... Not that their IQs makes them bad people, but that was never our claim.

Oh my God that was funny! Especially the "I get to have one less order screwed up at McDonald’s" line. As much as I love Damages, Friday Night Lights, and Breaking Bad type shows, Chelsea Lately is my guilty pleasure. There are so many good shows on TV, there is plenty of room for the stupid shows. Besides, if a ton of people weren't watching, it wouldn't still be on.

I still haven't seen Jersey Shore for fear I might actually like it.
