Listen To Are You Screening? With BuzzVoice’s New Real-Time Radio Widget

You may have heard about the new BuzzVoice service that launched a while ago. It's a service that brings your favorite internet content to you in a new way, by converting it to audio that you can listen to you anywhere. You can check out the BuzzVoice App at iTunes here, and explore the idea a bit more at the BuzzVoice website here.

They currently have more than 1,400 sources available, so no matter what you look for on the web, you're pretty likely to find it through BuzzVoice. Every big name news site you can think of is probably on their list, and it doesn't matter if it's tech, entertainment, sports, or anything else.

Now, the folks at BuzzVoice really play up the "on the go" possibilities, and opening up that new avenue is certainly great, but it's not exactly what sucks me into the concept. Audio books are obviously getting more and more popular, and the chance to add your favorite internet news, blogs, and more to your commuteor workout is great. It also opens things up to those with disabilities, and that's a nice selling point as well. But, what hooks me is actually the "not on the go" opportunity. As you can probably imagine, I subscribe to a lot of content on the internet. BuzzVoice gives me another level of multi-tasking by letting me create what is basically a custom news radio channel with whatever content I want.

You may notice the BuzzVoice widget over in the sidebar there. The team at BuzzVoice are expanding their real-time audio platform to publishers, and when I got the opportunity to be involved in the private beta, I jumped on it. Not only do I love getting in on things early, but I love the idea of new ways for people to get their Screening fix... and new ways to share doesn't hurt either.

With the new BuzzVoice widget in our sidebar, you can now listen to our stories on our site, on your favorite social site, or on iPhones, iPods and other mobile devices.
