Entertainment Giveaway From Tony’s

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Tony's Pizza. All opinions are 100% mine.

Tony's Pizza wanted to sponsor my movie night so that I could let you know about their new Crispy Crust pizzas, and their Entertainment Giveaway. Actually rather a fan of Tony's (and what with college nostalgia kicking in), I was happy to oblige. Better still, I had so many possibilities for getting some friends together. The Critics' Choice Movie Awards, the Football Playoffs, the Golden Globes... I was spoiled for choice.

Alas, the best laid plans often coincide with holiday weekends and lots of snow.

In the end, it was family movie night, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and a lot of Tony's pizza was the perfect combination.

Now, you may imagine that movie night is not that unusual at my house, and pizza is not exactly unheard of on such nights, but we really had a lot of fun with this one. Something about this movie really clicked with my kids, and they were laughing all the way through. You don't particularly expect to hear screams of, "Ratbird!" for hours on end, but they do latch onto the strangest things. The, "more pizza," shouts were less surprising, especially since food kept falling from the sky at them.

One thing that made the night was that we had "rounds" of pizzas. We started off with a few fresh from the oven, but pretty soon it was time for the second round, and there's really a different dynamic to Tony's during movie night, because you can treat them as more of a snack food as well. Cut into small pieces, you're nibbling as you watch. But, when that mayor suddenly ballooned up and was jammed onto that little scooter so he could get around... and we'd been stuffing our faces all movie long... the looks around the table were priceless.

Everyone really loved the pizza, and it honestly was just the perfect thing to go along with enjoying this movie with the kids. We're no strangers to pizza of course, and while perhaps not the most health conscious choice no matter where you go, I do often wonder about how heavy and greasy it is when it comes to the kids. Tony's still isn't exactly celery, but I did actually note that it felt a little better to me. It didn't have a pool of grease on top of it, and it's just a lighter affair. Plus, they went over like gangbusters. Throw into the mix that for the price of one delivered pizza I can get ten (or more) Tony's pizzas, and these are going to be in my freezer more often.

Movie night is a regular thing here, and we had a blast with this one. Popcorn is great, but I'm really moved to get behind the idea of these pizzas, especially with a mix of other things, as the snack/dinner fare that goes along with many a night of screening.

Make sure you leave a comment and send your tweets, and get your shot at the $500 Entertainment Giveaway. I also have eight coupons for Tony's Crispy Crust Pizza that I'm going to send to another lucky winner who leaves a comment here.
