Yes!! This is perfect... You're so cool!!! Way to go, man!!

worst fucking list ever absolute disaster

quite a few good finds, but Ciudade de Deus is overlooked. When ur talkin about the best films of the decade, u cant forget that gem, in the top 10 of the decade if not no 1.

batman begins 40 places above dark knight?! children of men are too low in my opinion. and i believe you should have put at least one zombie movie in there (dawn of the dead-remake, shaun of the dead or even zombieland) to represent the awakening of that genre! if you agree, check out this list i found: http://www.zombieplace.com/zombie-movies

My only real thing to say is that for some reason this guy totally disrespected Scorsese. I mean I can see leaving "Gangs of New York" off the list, but "The Departed" and "The Aviator" are without a doubt two of the best 10 films of the decade. Zero Dicaprio movies??? Are you serious? This guy had a hard on for Clooney too obviously....looking back on it, I actually have many complaints...if you are going to put a Clooney directed film on the list, how could "Good Night & Good Luck" be left off? So bogus.

Good Night & Good Luck probably should have been on the list actually. I'll give you that one. Great film. As for the others, I can leave them off without hesitation. Appreciate the comment.

into the wild, one of the best movies i've ever seen...

the last page isn't alphabetical, is it?

No, not the very end of the list. Then again, I'm not one to think the positions mean a whole lot.

I think the list is closer to being backwards. I agree with most of movies, but the top ten seem to be like personal favorites rather than what is a legit acclaimed movie. Amelia? waking the dead? Lord of the rings was good, but not nearly number 1.

Amelia isn't on the list, and it's in alphabetical order, but I appreciate the comment. As for the personal favorites, yes, that's what it is. That's what all lists are. Cheers.

What about.... Tigerland (2000) Traffic (2000) Mean Creek (2004) This Is England (2006) The Hurt Locker (2008) Fish Tank (2009)

2009 doesn't really count, and The Hurt Locker is really 2009. Tigerland was pretty good, but I didn't care for Traffic. I only vaguely recall Mean Creek, and haven't seen This is England. Appreciate the titles though. Have to revisit a few of those. Marc

Mean Creek and This Is England are both independent films so their popularity is quite low but either way give 'em a watch.

thats right...for me,,Lord Of The Rings is the best movie i ever seen... To all the people that hates LOTR.just try to watch all the episode of the movie.. 2 thumbs up plus 5 star rating..

Lord of the Rings Number 1? Oh Dear....

Where's Pan's Labyrinth? With that not in your list i cannot take this seriously

A much-mentioned title. I didn't love it, though there is much to appreciate about it.

Did I miss Pan's Labyrinth?

Did I miss something or are The Departed and Mystic River not on this list? Along with Crash, Gladiator, Apocalypto, Gangs of New York, Walk the Line....

your list is terrible. i don't understand why i had to keep clicking to go to new pages either. are you so desperate for advertising money (or something like that ?) that you need to compromise the integrity of your website in this fashion?

This is by far the best list i have seen. Gonna watch all these Movies. U got a good choice in movies

HAHA KORD OF THE PINGS ,,,yeah right! what an idiot

Where's Gladiator? LOTR is the only Fantasy movie to ever win picture of the year, But seriously Gladiator didn't make the top 5? It's easily one of the greatest movies of ALL TIMES!!! The plot, screen play, sound track, the acting, etc. Everything was amazing. 2000 picture OF THE YEAR!. Learn to watch movies ppl ;)

Excellent list, though missing a few besties.

Where is Requiem for a Dream?

I thought this list was great! I've never even seen most of these movies, but I've been checking them out, and they're all very enjoyable. Thanks.

i love how you just put the Lord of the rings Trilogy as number 1, it is without a doubt the three best movies of the decade, i do have a few other comments though, donnie darko i felt should be higher, and i feel as if a few comedy movies should be on it, other then that fanastic list

at least the list is different ive read quite a few lists this is the only 1 that appeals to me? not so sure about lord of the rings though each to their own.

It's in alphabetical order. Thanks for applying yourself.

So Shrek is Way better than THE DARK KNIGHT Most incorrect list ever

I think you have the most artistic and an intelligent list of good films ever selected for best bunch here. Most of people here criticizing your selection don't have any idea themselves really.

You have a horrible sense of cinematic taste.

I thank you as well, and I'm glad that you don't agree completely.

I don't completely agree but I can tell you put a lot of work into making this so, I thank you

Since others have mentioned Gladiator, I'll respond to that one. Gladiator isn't on this list in much the same way that Casablanca wouldn't be on my list of best movies ever. I don't like it all that much. It's good, but it doesn't particularly do a lot for me, and I'll probably never watch it again.Just like horror and war films would be underrepresented on my best movies ever list, some things don't work as well for me.It's a personal list, and despite the fact that someone previously said that Gladiator is easily one of the best movies ever, there isn't actually any objective fact related to Gladiator's status.People respond to this list as though what they're hoping for is a list that simply mimics exactly the list they would make, or is the same as the list every other critic would put together. What's the point of such a list?

I have no idea where Hidalgo comes from to be honest, but some of the others are excluded due to the rules of this list.

I don't have the slightest theory that my opinion can be generalized to the preferences of the widespread public. What on Earth would be the purpose of a list which did?The Notebook?I'm not sure of the general implication actually. The direction you're going is confusing. Is my list supposed to mesh with the general public, or those with film credentials? At any rate, I have confronted quite a few people with film credentials, and I doubt very highly that many of them would have a lot of problems with this list. They wouldn't agree with all of it, but I seriously doubt you'll find any that would call into question my ability as a film critic because of it.

This looks more like a list of what not to watch. Where's Hidalgo, Gladiator, 300, The Blind Side, Star Trek... you know, the good movies?

Here elaborates the matter not only extensively but also detailly .I support thethe-boate write's unique point. It is useful and benefit to your daily life. You can go those sits to know more relate things. They are strongly recommended by friends.Personally

The list is downright ludicrous if you think your opinion can be generalized to the preferences of the widespread public. I mean honestly - City of God? Gladiator? And though it's not up there on my list - The Notebook? I'm no fruit but i guarantee at least 75% of the American female population would have it in top 20 downright. LOTR - Hell yes. But maybe you should confront a few individuals with relative film credentials before you waste my time any longer.

This list is almost entirely shite. The inclusion of From Hell totally discredits your taste. Maybe one in fifteen are decent and thats because I'm giving you the Lord of the Rings, Momento, and Batman movies. Shite.

lord of the rings might be the only movie i agree with

What a GARBAGE list!! Lord of the Rings? WTF? The whole list is TERRIBLE!!

Sorry how many Oscars did it win?
