My husband hates dramas (especially historical romantic types) so I'd be watching it alone. I like them in principle, but I'm such a history buff that it has to not violate my understanding of history. If it's a topic where I know little to nothing (as used to be the case with William Wallace), you're likely good. Lady Jane I knew nothing about before the movie and Anne of a Thousand Days was excellent. The Other Boleyn Girl turned my stomach.<br><br>Unfortunately, I'm pretty up on Victoria so, <i>even if the movie IS exceptional</i> I might never be able to appreciate the movie making.
