It’s the 24-hour Avatar IMAX 3D Fan-a-thon that will kick-off and usher in the opening of AvatarAvatar reviews: An IMAX 3D ExperienceeXperience! There will be HOURLY giveaways plus Avatar facts and missions found on the IMAX fan page. The FanThe Fan reviews-a-thon starts on December 18 at 12:01 AM EST and will run for 24 hours! Fans can enter to win exclusive Avatar IMAX 3D prizes EVERY HOUR!

I'm not Cameron's biggest fan by any means, but as a life-long IMAX fan - the real full-size IMAX GT system that is - I could cut the atmosphere with a knife as I'm going to see AVATAR at 14:15 today! I'm sure that it will more than make up for all the years I've sat like a geek alone in the IMAX theatres of Britain.

I got a midnight ticket over a month ago for Avatar IMAX 3D at the Bridge Cinema in LA so I could see it on the best screen in LA with the best crowd. Cameron tends to pop in at the Bridge when he goes to the movies and he said he may stop in on 1-2 theater screenings to get the vibe of the crowd.
