I've been a big fan of Gone with the Wind since a kid. I know many kids more than likely have never watched this but I feel in love with it. It's one of those movies that never gets old and that you can watch again and again. I would love to be able to see this is blu-ray.

Ooh, this is awesome! I never bothered to upgrade this movie from VHS to DVD so it'd be nice to jump right over to blu.

Can you believe that Margaret Mitchell wanted to name the main character Pansy O'Hara? I talk to people all the time about the importance of names and I think the same must be true for even fictional characters! Scarlett O'Hara is the perfect name for this feisty character. Thanks for your post!

I remember the first time my family took me to this movie at a drive in theatre. Being a young lad I thought the war scenes were absolutely awesome, but as I grew older I relized the true epic drama of this movie. Seeing this movie on Blu-Ray would truly be awesome way to view this fantastic movie.

I was four years old in 1940 and living in a small coal mining town in Pennsylvania. I remember my parents taking me with them to see a movie called GONE WITH THE WIND. I sat between them in the small movie theatre with the seat up so I could see better. I still remember the color and the spectacle and how my mother wept with Melanie and Mammy when Bonnie Blue died. Since then I've seen it maybe a hundred times, but I can't wait to see it in its restored Blu-Ray…. and experience again my first enchantment with that wonderful film.

sweet im collecting all best picture winners on blu! ive never seen this movie either and want to see it in the highest quality possible
