One of the best things about Up for me was the attention to detail when it came to the past. Not just the styling and imagery, but the point of view. The bulging eyes at the movie theater, the exact collection of memorabilia surrounding the one we picked out, every smallest detail. You got a real sense of the film’s particular definition of “old school.”
Some of these retro posters got a bit of play with the initial release (I especially recall seeing the dog one a few times at least), but some of them are new to me, and they are ridiculously fun. Remember Up isn’t that far away, hitting on Nov. 10th.
