In Gayle We Trust – NBC Webshow Review

The world of webshows got itself a new addition about a week ago, and the In Gayle We Trust is one of the very rare efforts that you hope will get a lot of attention so that expansion becomes a real possibility.

Gayle is an insurance agent, and the series revolves around quick glimpses into her life at work and at home. The show takes solid advantage of the bite-sized format that is web television, and perky (but not annoyingly so) Gayle carries on through those insane people we all know at have to deal with… seriously, there’s a character I can’t mention, because I will be forced to use a name.

This one really is a lot of fun, and a see a lot of webshows. It’s been a tough road the last 12 months or so, as everyone tries to jump on the bandwagon. For every classic there are thousands popping up that I can’t make it all the way through… and when your show is three minutes long, that is not something you want to hear. The group responsible here has done a nice job at finding the right mix.
