HP wants you to "pimp out" your home office, and they have just the products (and some specials) to make the ultimate home office a reality. Visit HP and check out all the desktops, laptops, printers, and more, that can turn your home office into a real star. While you're there, take advantage of their HP $30 stackable site-wide coupon*, and be sure to browse around all their laptop options, because I've got a special contest for you.
Leave a comment on this post, and tell me which is your favorite HP laptop, and you are automatically entered to win a $100 HP giftcard. Please see the complete contest rules.
If you haven't taken a tour of the HP website recently, you might be surprised by what they have in store for you. I actually could really use a laptop to complete my own home office, and since we're looking at dream offices here, I went straight to the HP HDX 18t Premium series.
I have to admit to being a little surprised by all the options I noticed on my way to that particular laptop. From weekly deals to the My Print Rewards, to a lot of other specials and custom upgrade possibilities, there's a lot more going on at HP online than I knew about.
While I'm going for a dream office, I could certainly use an upgrade to my all-in-one printer. I already have an HP working for me (an OfficeJet J4680), which hasn't let me down yet, but if we're dreaming... why not an HP Business Inkjet 2800dtn?
Of course, while I'm upgrading my home office, how can I not go for the HP TouchSmart IQ800t series? I mean, it's touchscreen. Plus, this particular computer would just fit my situation to absolute perfection. I'm a work-at-home-dad, and I've got little people tearing around me all day. Add to that the very particular confines available for a home office, and this HP model would definitely be the key to my dream home office. No tower, no cords all over the place, and the ability to wall mount (an option I would take advantage of), and suddenly my home office is wherever I want it.
Combine that flexibility with a 25.5" screen and the upgrade to a Blu-Ray player, and mix it all together with a laptop, and that would be heaven. I've actually had a chance to play around with one of these HP TouchSmart PCs, and they are too cool to describe effectively, so make sure you check out the video link included above, and there are more below.
The TouchSmart advantage
The hallmark of this series is intuitive touch technology for fast, easy access to information, communication tools, and entertainment. You can:
- Interact naturally with the PC using your finger or a stylus; your touch registers just before your finger touches the screen
- Use touch instead of a mouse to click and drag, and to navigate through music, photos, and movies
- Open objects and programs by simply tapping
- Use more than one finger at a time: pinch, push, rotate, and scroll
- Resize and move icons
But then, as I looked around, I figured there might be a few more little things I might need to go that extra mile. I probably better go ahead and get that HP Universal Notebook Stand with Wireless Keyboard and Mouse, because why would I not set myself up in other locations in style? While I'm at it, you can never be too safe, so I better add a HP 2TB Personal Media Drive. I could probably go on, but soon enough I'm an HP retailer and not a home office, so I'd better leave well enough alone.
Take a look around the HP website and check out all the home office possibilities. Then be sure to come back and leave a comment, and remember, you must tell me your favorite HP laptop, and you could win a $100 HP giftcard. One winner will be chosen from the comments here.
