True Blood – New Promo & Season 2 Shots

It's no surprise that I'm a pretty big fan of True Blood, even if I consider myself a fan in rather an odd sense.  Early on I was a huge supporter, but as episodes rolled out I moved over into some camp that could not properly be called "avid watchers."  It's rather cool and hip, but it's also really odd, and while I definitely want to see what it's going to do, I'm not quite addicted.

trueblood2On the other hand, I love it in theory.  I love that the cable networks are pushing the envelope of television theory.  Good or bad, I'm happy that shows like Weeds, Eastbound & Down, and many others are out there doing things you can't do on 'regular' networks.  I'm a bit surprised Anna Paquin won an award, and I'm not sure I'd have given it to her, but I'm also glad she won.

truebloodposterOn June 14th, True Blood is back for its second season, and there's a new promotional spot for it.  If you haven't caught the show yet, check it out, get caught up, and get ready for more.

If you're already a fan of the show and/or the books, look for the show to continue into the next book (so I hear) with the same mix of similarities and differences driving the plot.  Things are going to get a lot more complicated.

Mark your calendars, and check out the promo below.
