He's made a lot of things that I don't particularly like, but he does a lot of things quite well in his direction. In particular, he works conversations well, and his spin on the less than action packed Dawn Treader might be worthwhile.

Of late he's been tied to some mediocre films, but he could throw out a few names that are worthy of respect.
