I loved it too, and have been a little sad re: the backlash it took at one point.

I liked Unbreakable fairly well. Not great, but not too bad.

Everything else was pretty bad.

Love the Unbreakable and Signs. The Sixth Sense is third, in my book, behind them.

Bryce Howard is the main reason to watch this film. She is really great.

I was blown away by The Sixth Sense, particularly the absolutely riveting performance of Haley Joe Osment and, yes, the perfect shock and look back. I never saw it coming. And I always see it coming.

I haven't, however, been impressed with anything he's done since, not even Unbreakable. I think I can stay away.
