I'm not really sure you can have it both ways though, but it isn't really that big a deal, and you have to remember this review was based on a pre-air viewing of the first episode.

Tara and her family may be old hats when it comes to her D.I.D. however the fact that she hasn't recently gone off medication is stated clearly through out the first 7 episodes. If Tara and her family are used to her being medicated, the character would probably feel the need to apologize for the recent transitions. I disagree.
