On the other hand, some really uninteresting and fairly useless people have huge fanbases… in fact, being uninteresting and useless is one of the major causes of huge fanbases.

Paula may have a huge fanbase (I'll take your word for it) but she is absolutely replacable. As a judge she serves no actual function at all.

I dont really mind Kara but I dont think she will do anything for the show either. you can keep her and its fine- but you can also take her out and thats fine too. whereas Paula and simon Are irreplacable and thats just not because of them as individuals but their chemistry. i really think Paula and simon have the best chemistry on TV. which is obvious by their HUGE fan base paula has never said shes not interested in doing the show anymore. thats just made up crap.
