Pretty good list I supose, although I haven't seen a few of these movies.

I really think think Prince Caspian was a big improvement on the first Narnia installment. As you mentioned it just had that adventure vibe and the action and fighting scenes were much improved. The first was kept two child friendly and it suffered in my book as a result. Definately C.S. Lewis' best book for mine also.

Not much of a fan of tropic thunder, this kind of stupid commedy can get old fast. However, Jack Black was absolute hilarious and made this movie acceptable. His scene where he was tied to the tree had me on the floor. Ben Stiller let me down on this one, I am a fan though - his best movie is Dodgeball.

Dark Knight was ground breaking and Heath Ledger was brillant. Not as good the second time you watch it though. Iron Man was also good. Mamma Mia should be on a very different list for mine, but I supose there is always gonna be differences.

I enjoyed this good work!

I'm afraid looking at this list mostly told me what a sad year it was. Except for absolutely adoring "Wall-E" (and I'm a huge Pixar fan, but this was my favorite), I can see what you were saying here - (and I can see what you're saying for Wall-E, too but I loved it anyway). Unfortunately for things like "Mama Mia" to be on the list (and I'm an ABBA fan, too), it's really a reflection of what choices were available.

I know how you feel. I somehow feel a little sorry putting on this list, but it was pretty funny, and it was somewhat different. It was stupid, but it wasn't just the same old stupid we've seen over and over.

And, as I tried to explain, just because you can describe something as stupid does not automatically mean it isn't good.

Monty Python's Holy Grail is stupid, and so is Caddyshack.

Cheers.

I'm sorry to say this, but I liked Tropic Thunder. Yes, sometimes it was a little bit goofy, but all in all I've laughed a lot.

Highlight: The Dark Knight
