players hitting shelves with the Netflix capability built into them, but no-brainer Tivo connectivity has been glaringly absent.
The Chicago Tribune’s story covers the details that held up the deal. Apparently, both sides thought they would look for better offers for working the same idea.
I don’t know about you, but adding the Tivo option to the Netflix service makes a world of difference to me. I know that internet streaming is shooting through the roof right now, and places like FanCast and HuluHulu
are growing in popularity, but I want to just tell it to show up on my TV.
Yeah, I know, you can make that work, but I like the very few steps option.
This is great news for both companies, though neither of them seem to be hyping it up quite yet. StayStay reviews
