Image via WikipediaIt's taken me a bit to collect my thoughts on Paul Newman's death. Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid was one of the first films I truly loved. There's a lot to say, and I don't actually have the right persepective (by way of age) to say any of it. I managed a lot of his films well after their release, and he and I aren't really of the same world of film. Nevertheless, he did a lot to make me really understand what movies were doing, what they might try to do, and why they do it.
Here's a short AP story for those interested.
I'm just going to include several links to some other people who probably have more interesting things to say about him than I would anyway.
